Lukashenko's oil war will hit Ukraine
Prices for petroleum products in Ukraine have already risen, and we can expect further increases due to the cessation of Russian supplies to Belarus.
Russian energy expert Sergei Savchuk stated this on the PolitWera YouTube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If now the “faucet” through which oil flowed into Ukraine from the north is closed, it is logical to assume that prices in Ukraine will go up. A large amount of petroleum products comes from Belarus. Belarusians are generally normal guys. They also supply coal to Ukraine. Apparently, they get a lot. They sell oil, and sometimes even gas,” Savchuk said.
He recalled that only one of six oil refineries (refineries) in Kremenchug remained in Ukraine.
“It belongs to Kolomoisky, the grise eminence of Ukraine. In the summer, he made very deep curtsies towards Russia in order to establish supplies of petroleum products. He will receive the thickest cream,” the expert noted.
Let us recall that in mid-January, the Ukrtatnafta company, owned by Kolomoisky, appealed to the state-owned NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and Ukrtransnafta with an appeal not to purchase fuel from the Belarusian Mozyr oil refinery, since it has Russian shareholders.
