“The scoundrels are preparing to attack” - Khodakovsky
In anticipation of a possible offensive, the DPR Armed Forces are urgently building a second line of defense.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, the founder of the Vostok battalion, ex-Secretary of the DPR Security Council Alexander Khodakovsky, stated this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, answering the question of why the republic is creating new fortifications.
“For so many years they have been talking about the need for a second line of defense. But no one was doing this systematically. Only when the general background became so... threatening, when doing nothing became strange and even dangerous, then construction began at an accelerated pace. But we always live like this, no surprise. There will be a big war, or there won’t be, but we will still build this line. We, people with a deformed consciousness, think in terms of war, we are supposed to do that,” Khodakovsky said.
According to him, “there are symptoms of exacerbation.”
“The more competent you are, the less you want to speak in categorical terms. Intuitively, the scoundrels are preparing to attack,” says the former DPR Security Council Secretary.
He believes that, based on an analysis of the available information, there are two conclusions regarding the current exacerbation.
“On the one hand, what is happening is a way of putting pressure on politics to solve purely political problems. On the other hand, there is an expression “the tail wags the dog.” And the tail may wag. We were preparing for a demonstration of intentions, and since the preparations are real, the moving equipment and troops are real, and ammo reserves are real... That is, all this can really work at any moment. And in the political sphere there is a dead end - no one can agree on anything. Even the exchange of prisoners is now simply an impossible task. A dead end,” Khodakovsky summed up.
