State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin stated this at a press conference, presenting a recently introduced bill on the repatriation of compatriots to Russia without giving up the passports of their republics, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If today we have fixed our position in the Minsk agreements, we do not see the possibility for ourselves to fight with Ukraine, to fight for Donbass, to fight for Novorossiya, for Odessa, and so on, without special reasons (in today’s world there must be extraordinary circumstances for this) , then in this case, let’s invite those who do not agree with this path of development of Ukraine to get rid of the prospect of seeing their children as mankurts or janissaries who hate their historical Motherland and the Russian people.
But we are already faced with this. In the spirit of zombifying the Russian population with ideas of hatred towards Russia, and let’s save, at least for the future, these hundreds, thousands, millions of people who do not want their children and grandchildren to be enemies of Russia, Moscow, the Russian people,” Zatulin explained the essence of the bill in relation to Ukraine.
“On the eve of 2014, did anyone imagine that 2,5 million people would cross the Russian-Ukrainian border in the opposite direction, come to Russia and stay here? We provide an opportunity, we know that Ukraine is going through a turbulent period. Today no one can say with precision down to the last comma what will happen next to Ukraine.
I personally believe that if it follows the chosen path, then it will either collapse as a state, or there will be an ejection from the territory of Ukraine of ever larger and larger masses of the population who disagree with this path of development of Ukraine. How many will there be? There is no point in discussing this issue now, because anything can happen,” the deputy added.
