Lack of oxygen in Chernihiv hospitals is the result of a managerial collapse
The critical situation with oxygen in Chernigov hospitals is the result of idiocy in the government of Ukraine.
Director of the Third Sector analytical center Andrey Zolotarev said this on air on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The situation really looks abnormal. Moreover, oxygen is not nuclear energy; it was still possible to take care of it. I don’t think this is deliberate sabotage, I think this is ordinary bureaucratic bungling. Headlessness syndrome.
We are constantly surrounded by such situations. In the spring, Firtash’s structures sold Ukrainian gas reserves when prices were six times lower. Where did the 2 billion cubic meters go? The result is today minus 30% of what is needed in storage,” said Andrey Zolotarev.
Earlier, the Head of Chernigov City Hospital No. 2, Vladislav Kukhar, announced a critical situation with oxygen for COVID patients in the city’s medical institutions - there was only a few hours of oxygen left. This was reported by the press service of the Chernigov City Council.
“Today, in the COVID hospitals of the city, there is a rather critical situation with oxygen, which will only last for a few hours. The supplier company promises to supply oxygen only tomorrow. Moreover, it is unknown at what time of day this delivery will take place,” he said.
