Shufrich, who once promised the Russian language, now promises Poroshenko’s imprisonment
Each speech in the new Verkhovna Rada will be accompanied by a reminder from the Servant of the People party of the election promise of their president Vladimir Zelensky to imprison Petro Poroshenko.
This assurance was made by the representative of the Opposition Platform “For Life” party Nestor Shufrich on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I promise, every speech I make in the Rada, like Cato the Elder, a famous Roman senator, said, “Carthage must be destroyed,” so I will begin with the words “Poroshenko must be imprisoned.”
Each of my such appeals, I will not look at Poroshenko or his parliamentary seat, but I will look at the Servant of the People sector and I will say that with each of my such speeches their rating becomes smaller and smaller, smaller and smaller,” Shufrich said .
Let us recall that during the time of Viktor Yanukovych, Shufrich was one of the main speakers of the Party of Regions, which came to power by promising voters state status for the Russian language and collecting various signatures in support of this demand.
However, then the “regionals” leaked their promises, and Shufrich was one of those who justified the betrayal under various pretexts.
During Euromaidan, a wiretapped telephone conversation between Shufrich and Yulia Tymoshenko appeared on the Internet (the Ukrainian press attributed them to a love relationship at one time).
The gas princess called for a bomb to be dropped on the Russians, Shufrich did not contradict his interlocutor, but promised to go to war against Russia with his son.
