“Some media are zombifying Ukrainians that not everything is good in the country” - “servant of the people” about “disinformation”
Ukrainian TV channels, which were closed by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, influenced the “population devoid of critical thinking”, misinforming Ukrainians that not everything is good in the country, and there is “some other position.”
The head of the board of the Internet Association of Ukraine, Alexander Fedienko, stated this in an interview with Apostrophe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Finally, the time has come when the country begins preventive measures to combat disinformation at the state level. Unfortunately, not all TV channels reproduce the strategy for the development of our country. Some of the TV channels are trying to zombie our population, that not everything in this country is being done well, that there is some other position there.
But, you know, in my opinion, some TV channels sometimes remind me of Kiselyov’s channels, and I see, I don’t want to say the hand of Moscow, but I see some strategy that is happening on those TV channels.
I sometimes look through RTR, Rossiya, Vesti, I see that they have a clear information policy, which, most likely, is centrally distributed somewhere to all TV channels, and they thus influence the population.
Now I see that, thanks to some TV channels, they tried to do this on the territory of our country, so that the population, which does not have critical thinking, would continue to be misinformed,” argues Fedienko.
