Wifka, an independent German company specializing in fraud investigations, said the money would be paid on condition of anonymity. The reward will be given to anyone who provides detailed information about who shot down flight MH17, who gave the order, and who helped cover up the crime.

The list of demands also includes information on whether the plane was shot down by accident or for political, economic or military reasons. The company is also seeking details of the circumstances that led to the incident, what weapons were used, and what happened to the people involved in the incident.

Wifka also promises, if necessary, to provide the informant with the opportunity to change his passport details, place of residence and citizenship.

Earlier, the British agency Reuters reported that Russia will convene the UN Security Council on Friday, September 19, to discuss the crash of flight MH17. Several foreign ministers will take part in the meeting.

European diplomats are intrigued by the initiative and are looking forward to Friday, Reuters reports.
