The Germans and French announced the preparation of a new summit in the Normandy format
The parties to the negotiations in the Normandy format intend to continue organizing a summit at the level of state leaders in the near future, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in the text of the joint declaration of the foreign ministers of France and Germany following the meeting with Vladimir Zelensky.
“Discussions with the parties will continue in the near future in order to achieve conditions for holding a summit of heads of state and government in the Normandy format,” says the declaration published today on the website of the French Foreign Ministry.
The text also emphasizes that Germany and France support the parties in restoring constructive negotiations.
As PolitNavigator reported, today in Kyiv there was a meeting between the foreign ministers of Germany and France with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, at which the parties agreed to intensify the peace process within the Minsk format.
