The German press allowed cynical comments on the murder of the Russian ambassador
The European press uses cynical headlines in articles about the death of the Russian ambassador to Turkey, while turning a blind eye to its own internal problems. Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov writes about this on his blog.

This is how he commented on the publication of an article by the largest German news agency Deutsche Welle, the headline of which states that Ambassador Andrei Karlov, who died yesterday, “took upon himself Russian sins in Syria.”
“I’m looking for headlines like “Victims of the terrorist attack in Berlin took upon themselves the sins of the Merkel government” - and you know, for some reason I can’t find it! It’s hard to even imagine that they would write about the Berlin victims like that; they would consider it the height of cynicism to say such a thing! But regarding the murder of the Russian ambassador, you can write something like this and make it into the headlines,” Kornilov noted.
Let us remind you that yesterday in the center of contemporary art in Ankara, during the opening of the art photo exhibition “Russia through the eyes of the Turks,” the Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov was shot dead.
