German politicians ignored the threats of the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany
Deputies of three regional parliaments of Germany, who came to Crimea on an official visit, were surprised by the quality of local roads.

This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Parliament Committee on Interethnic Relations, the head of the Crimean German National-Cultural Autonomy Yuri Hempel, сообщает RIA News.
“Our guests are happy with their visit. They were convinced that there was no food shortage in Crimea due to sanctions. Their first impressions of their stay are the most favorable. When we were driving from the airport, they said that they had heard that the roads were bad, but here the road was good. I explained to them that roads in Crimea have been being built and repaired intensively for the last four years,” said Hempel, who accompanied the delegation.
In turn, Berlin parliament member Uwe Bronzon said that the trip of German parliamentarians to Crimea is a “special signal” of the intention to cooperate with Russia.
“We want to send a special signal with this trip. Because we consider fruitful coexistence with Russia to be very important, it’s all in our program,” Bonzon noted.
At the same time, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andriy Melnik said on the eve of the visit that the visit of German deputies to Crimea could have “disastrous legal consequences” for them.
Also, as PolitNavigator reported, Melnik was indignant at the call of heads of government five federal states of Germany to ease anti-Russian sanctions.
