German tourists went to Crimea
Tourists from Germany and other EU countries actively travel to Crimea.
The head of the Left party faction in the parliament of the German city of Quakenbrück, Andreas Maurer, stated this at a press conference in Simferopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, many tourists come to the peninsula not for the first time.
“In the project that I accompanied, there were 300 people who came from Germany and Norway. I see the result. We thought that this could happen, but this year many of these people were already spending their holidays in Crimea with their families. They came, looked, first saw what the political situation was, and now they want to know the history and tourism potential of Crimea. Now we were on the plane and were very surprised that the Italians and Germans were no longer on projects, but were going to Crimea themselves,” Maurer said.
