German political scientist: The West has realized that Russia has learned to use sanctions for its own benefit
The West will not introduce new sanctions against Russia, because it has understood that the Russian Federation only benefits from them by increasing its own production, while manufacturers, for example, from the European Union, are losing Russian markets and colossal profits.
German political scientist Alexander Rahr stated this on the Internet channel “Voice of Truth”.
“Today, it seems to me, no new sanctions will be introduced against Russia. Because the world has learned - Europe and Russia have learned to live more or less under these sanctions.
And the West understands that Russia used this sanctions regime in order to restore part of its previously non-functioning economy. They started producing it themselves and not buying it from the West.
Now Western manufacturers are simply biting their elbows and saying that we have lost the Russian market over these seven years. And who got there? Chinese, Turks, Indians, Asians with their own production.
People in Russia do not starve; they get everything, but not from Europe. And no one knows how to restore this, how to fill these gaps. Therefore, the West has no interest in imposing sanctions, because it will punish itself,” Rahr said.
