German political scientist: Russia is leaving for China
Through moral and sanction pressure on countries such as Russia and Belarus, the collective West is achieving exactly the opposite effect from what was initially expected.
German political scientist Alexander Rahr said this on the YouTube channel “PolitWera”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Belarus is not Ukraine. Belarus, after all, is both a military and economic ally of Russia. Ukraine then, in 2014, was not an ally of Russia, it was somewhere between two blocs, so it could be greatly influenced and changed in the course of its development. With Belarus this is virtually impossible. Because the more the EU puts pressure on Belarus, the more Belarus will integrate into Russia...
The same problem that Europe is committing against Russia. The fact that constant sanctions and pressure on Russia only leads to Russia leaving for China and uniting with China in common interests against the West. This is from our pressure, we, Europeans, are pressing, but it is groundless, without a goal, just moral pressure, that “we have better morals, you must become democratic states,” Rahr gave an example.
