The German TV channel politely but firmly “sent” the Ukrainian diplomat, who was sticking his nose into someone else’s business.

The day before, as PolitNavigavtor reported, Ukrainian Ambassador Andrei Melnik called on the organizers of the show “Germany is looking for a superstar” to exclude Scooter lead singer H.P. Baxter from the jury after his band’s performance in Crimea.
“The choice of venue and organization of performances as a musician is solely the responsibility of H.P. Baxter or his managers. In this regard, we do not comment on this,” the RTL media group said in a statement.
The Scooter group flew to Crimea for the first time and performed on August 4 in front of an audience of thousands of the #ZBFest festival in Balaklava. The musicians presented a spectacular multimedia show, performed all their famous hits and promised the Crimeans “to see you next time.” The Ukrainian prosecutor's office of the non-existent ARK Crimea has opened a criminal case against the musicians for visiting the peninsula without permission from Kyiv; they face up to eight years in prison.
