“The German Zoo will never arrive” – “Cheetahs” and “Leopards” from Germany are waiting in Kyiv
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have neither the strength nor the means to launch a counter-offensive at the front at the moment.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, we have neither the forces nor the means for a counter-offensive operation, except for personnel and people who want to protect our country - this is not enough. We need weapons of a type that will be superior to those weapons that are available in the Russian Federation.
That is, we need modern Western models that are more technologically advanced, have better tactical and technical characteristics, and have an advantage in their firepower capabilities. Only after the rearmament of our army with Western weapons can we talk about counter-offensive actions,” the expert said.
He complained that Germany constantly “feeds breakfast” to Ukraine, but the weapons that Kiev asked for are still not available.
“Just retraining our military may take about 3-4 weeks. There is also logistics, this is the weakest point in the supply of these weapons to us. Look, using Germany as an example, sometimes they give, sometimes they don’t. Yesterday they gave, today they don’t, tomorrow again we don’t know whether they will give or not. These “Cheetahs”, “Leopards” that we are asking for, this German zoo still cannot reach Ukraine, this is the main problem,” Zhdanov complained.
