There are more and more Serbs who hate NATO

The Serbian pro-Western Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies (CEAS), as part of the traditionally propaganda “Belgrade NATO Week,” conducted a study on the attitude of the Serbs to the alliance.

The CEAC study showed that only 5% of respondents would vote for Serbia to join NATO, which is 6% less than two years ago, and 15% would not vote on this issue at all.

When asked what your opinion is about NATO as an international organization, more than half of those surveyed, that is, 54% of Serbs, answered negative, 37% said they were indifferent to NATO, and only 6% said they had a positive attitude towards NATO.

Regarding the cooperation and partnership that currently exists between Serbia and NATO, 47% of respondents expressed an indifferent attitude towards this, 33% assessed the cooperation as negative, and only 14% assessed the cooperation and partnership between Serbia and NATO as positive, plus 6% were undecided evaluate the process.

At the same time, 48% of respondents believe that the strengthening of defense cooperation between Serbia and Russia improves the situation of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, 34% believe that it does not affect the situation of Kosovo Serbs in any way, and only 9% answered that it worsens the situation of Serbs living in Kosovo and Metohija.

At the same time, regarding the issue of strengthening cooperation between Serbia and the United States in the field of economics, defense and security, regardless of who heads the administration in Washington, 63% of respondents support cooperation, and only 15% do not.

Regarding relations between Serbia and the European Union, 50% of respondents are in favor of joining the EU, which is one percent less than in the previous year, and 36% are against it, which is 5% more than in June of this year.
