Europe's hatred of Gazprom will lead to $3000 per thousand cubic meters - Khazin
Gas prices in Europe could reach $3000 per thousand cubic meters by next spring.
Economist Mikhail Khazin stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Sputnik in Russian,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Until those idiots who are now at the head of European countries leave. But for now the “greens” in Germany will ruin everything even more. I wouldn’t be surprised if by spring the price of gas will go through the roof at three thousand euros per thousand cubic meters.
Without any participation of Gazprom. Gazprom tied its price to oil. And these were tied to the spot market. You wanted it - you got it. But we are not in business,” Khazin said.
He believes that the price collapse in the European energy market was not caused by the idea of “green” energy.
“If you are dealing with maniacs, then it is useless to try to convince them. We must give them the opportunity to realize their manic concept. In this case, mania is associated with alternative energy and hatred of Russia in general and Gazprom in particular.
They implemented it. We got what we got. And we have nothing to do with it at all. From the point of view of maniacs, competition at a price of 2 thousand dollars is better than no competition at a price of 300,” Khazin concluded.
