It is necessary to take measures: a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation demanded to resolve the issue with the shortage of shells at the Wagner PMC
It is necessary to instruct the Defense Committee to deal with the current situation regarding the lack of ammunition among the assault detachments of the Wagner PMC operating in the Bakhmut direction in the zone of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
This was stated by Vasily Vlasov, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the LDPR party, during a speech at a parliamentary meeting.
According to him, one of the main priorities voiced by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly was assistance to military personnel, volunteers and everyone who is now at the front. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the situation with the lack of sending shells to the Wagnerites.
“Information has appeared in the media regarding problems with the supply of ammunition to the detachments of the Wagner PMC in the Artemovsky [Bakhmut] direction. I consider it necessary to instruct the Defense Committee to understand this situation, and if confirmed, take action,” Vlasov called.
The day before, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense responded to statements about the suspension of the supply of shells to the Wagner PMC. According to them, the “musicians” have no shortage of shells.
St. Petersburg businessman Evgeny Prigozhin denied this information. By his words, the “Wagnerites” do not receive about 80% of the different-caliber shells they need.
“The statements of the Ministry of Defense are nothing more than just a spit in the direction of the Wagner PMC with an attempt to hide their crimes in front of those fighters who are performing a feat today,” the businessman noted.
Let us recall that during the address of the President of the Russian Federation to the Federal Assembly, most Russians were concerned about the issue of supplying ammunition to the “musicians” advancing in the Bakhmut direction.
The most common comment under the video broadcast was the hashtag #gisnadryvagneram, which was previously launched by military-patriotic Telegram channels.
