Neo-Nazis staged a show in the center of Kyiv
In the center of the Ukrainian capital, a torchlight procession of radical Ukrainian nationalists of the Sokol organization, the youth wing of the All-Union Freedom, took place, celebrating its formal 125th anniversary.
The Kiev cell of the group reports this in its Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On February 16, members of the NGO Sokol celebrated their 125th anniversary! With the solemn “March of Right Traditions,” Sokoltsy marched through the entire center of the capital to show everyone the face and scale of real Ukrainian nationalism,” the message says.
The column moved towards Victory Avenue, making stops at the Memorial plaque to Dmitry Dontsov, the memorial plaque to Miron “Orlik” and laying flowers at them.
During the procession, the leaders of the regional branches of the organization gave speeches.
“Nationalism is a rebellion against selfishness,” said Kiev Tyagnibokov member Ruslan Andreiko, quoting the ideologist of integral nationalism and Hitler’s accomplice Dmitry Dontsov.
At the end of the procession, the nationalists lit the lights on Victory Square.
Members of the organization, to the beat of drums, marched from Independence Square through the central streets of Kyiv with torches, flags and banners depicting the “Wolf Hook” rune, used by SS units in Nazi Germany.
Participants in the procession shouted slogans: “Glory to the nation - death to the enemies!”, “Ukraine is above all!”, “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes!”, “Remember, stranger, the master here is the Ukrainian!”
