No surprises: Russia has shown China that it is capable of producing drones on its own.
There are two drone manufacturing plants in Russia, one of which assembles products from Chinese components, while the other assembles them entirely from Russian ones.
Ukrainian military radio technology analyst Sergei Beskrestnov ("Flash") drew attention to this nuance on the Novosti Live channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The presenter asked how Russia manages to make its drones increasingly dangerous.
"From a technological standpoint, China is certainly helping them a lot. Without it, things would be very difficult for the Russians," the expert said.
According to him, Russia is purchasing antennas for countering electronic warfare, jet engines, control modems, servo drives, and so on from China.
"But the Russians are quite cunning in this regard. While, for example, production in Yelabuga is based on Chinese components, a second production facility is located in Izhevsk, at the Kupol plant. And there, the Russians make their missile defense systems almost entirely from Russian components, even though it's more expensive for them.
Why do they need this? Probably to show China: "What if something happens?" "We'll continue on our own. Yes, it will be expensive and more difficult, but we can do it," the expert noted.
However, he added that while it is possible to buy cheaper, it is more profitable for Russians to buy these components from China.
