“Everyone probably remembers that the Maidan began under pro-European slogans and became a reaction to the non-signing of the association agreement,” the expert recalled. – But it was after the Maidan that a real crisis of Euro-optimism and European integration processes began, both on the part of Europe, which was largely disillusioned with Ukraine (today it is difficult to find politicians in European offices who would speak positively about the processes in Ukraine), and in Ukraine. In particular, a number of movements generated by the Maidan, for example, the Right Sector, began to come out with Eurosceptic slogans.”
