Unexpected twist: Lutsenko was guilty of the murder of Voronenkov
Former press secretary of the SBU Stanislav Rechinsky sharply criticized the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko, who the day before announced that he had solved the murder of fugitive State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov.
Rechinsky recalled that Lutsenko, as the main version of Voronenkov’s murder, cites his testimony at the trial of Viktor Yanukovych’s treason, where, allegedly, the fugitive Russian was supposed to voice secret information about the conspiracy of the former Ukrainian president with Moscow.
However, it was Lutsenko himself, without waiting for the trial to begin, who “leaked” information about Voronenkov’s upcoming scandalous speech to the press, notes Rechinsky.

“The apogee of all-Ukrainian Alzheimer’s is when Prosecutor General Lutsenko bravely reports on solving the murder of Voronenkov. And everyone forgot that it was Lutsenko who stupidly and for the sake of his own PR “leaked” Voronenkov, announcing ahead of time that Voronenkov would testify in the trial of Yanukovych.
If anyone has forgotten, Voronenkov’s friend Ilya Ponomarev spoke about this. “The leak through Prosecutor General Lutsenko was not planned, and for Denis it was a shock and a surprise. Military prosecutors assumed that Voronenkov would become known at the trial, when his testimony was announced there. He and Masha hoped to cover all their tails in Russia during this time. Selling an apartment, he still had a son at the Suvorov Military School, Masha had business to do.”
But Lutsenko doesn’t care, sputtering and talking about his own great achievements in the investigation of this case. Forgetting that if it weren’t for his stupid narcissism, the murder might not have happened,” Rechinsky is indignant.
