The ranking of the 100 richest people in Ukraine according to Focus magazine at the end of 2016 was once again topped by the owner of the SCM group, Rinat Akhmetov, whose fortune amounted to $2,2 billion.

According to the rating, as a year ago, the second third and fourth places are occupied by: co-owners of the Privat group Igor Kolomoisky ($1,2 billion) and Gennady Bogolyubov ($1,2 billion), owner of EastOne Viktor Pinchuk ($1,1 billion), respectively.
The owner of Kernel Group Andrey Verevsky ($10 million) rose to fifth place from 2016th in 871, and the owner of Mironovsky Hliboproduct and ex-deputy head of the administration of Petro Poroshenko Yuriy Kosyuk ($2015 million), who was fifth in 738, took sixth place.
