Despite the siege, 90 Russian citizens continue their studies in Lugansk
90 Russian citizens are currently studying at Lugansk State University. The rector of Leningrad State University named after Shevchenko, Elena Trigubenko, announced this today at a meeting of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee in Rostov.

“We attract citizens of the Russian Federation to study at our university. Today, we have 90 citizens from the Russian Federation studying in bachelor's and master's degrees, and in graduate school. We try not to lose touch with the territory controlled by Ukraine and post information for applicants,” Trigubenko said.
Lugansk University has entered into cooperation agreements with 24 universities of the Russian Federation and 7 DPR.
“At our university, 15 doctors and professors from the Russian Federation work part-time, and lectures are held online. The university hosted 36 scientific conferences, our students and teachers took part in 285 international scientific events in the Russian Federation,” Trigubenko said.
