Despite three years of propaganda, 50% of Ukrainians consider Russians brothers
Despite three years of anti-Russian propaganda and strict censorship in the media, 50% of residents of the regions of Ukraine remaining under the control of Kyiv still admit that they consider Russians to be brothers. This recognition was stated on the ATR TV channel by the deputy general director of the pro-Western Razumkov Center, Yuri Yakimenko.

He admitted that propaganda is yielding certain results, but the percentage of people who consider Russians to be a brotherly people is still high, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukrainians experienced a growing sense of their own difference, and this could not help but happen. Of course, in connection with these events, the war and everything else. The myth of the Slavic brotherhood turned out to be undermined. That is, this identification of the highest level is “we are Slavs,” etc., etc., “we are two fraternal peoples.” By the way, now almost 50% still believe that Russians and Ukrainians are two fraternal peoples. But there were more of them, there were 60% of them earlier,” Yakimenko said.
