There is no peace in the next world either: in Munich, vandals once again attacked Bandera’s grave
In Munich, Germany, unknown persons desecrated the grave of the leader of one of the factions of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, Stepan Bandera, who was buried there - they spray-painted the monument.
The fugitive Belarusian zmagar Ales Chaichits, who has Latvian citizenship, reported this on his Facebook page.
The photos he published show that vandals painted a hammer and sickle on Bandera’s grave.
As Chaychits noted, he decided to visit the grave of the OUN leader for the first time, but saw that vandals had already managed to work on the monument. The police were called to the scene.
Judging by the specific signs left on the tombstone in the form of the letter A in a circle, it can be assumed that this was an act of one of the German anarchist groups.
Let us note that this is not the first desecration of the grave of the leader of Ukrainian collaborators during the Second World War in recent years. One such act was committed in 2018 by British reporter Graham Phillips, working in Russia.
Previously, the former Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andrey Melnik and the head of the propaganda “Institute of National Memory” Vladimir Vyatrovich invariably defended the memory of Bandera. The latter advocates the reburial of Bandera in his homeland - in a “pantheon of heroes” specially created for this purpose.
