Kyiv, April 12 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) - Soviet people were free only in 1941 - 1945.
This statement was made by journalist Vitaly Portnikov in an author’s column on the pages of the Kyiv magazine “Novoe Vremya”.

“It was clear that there were two victory holidays,” says the author. – One was celebrated in the West not just as the day of the destruction of Nazism, but also as a day of freedom - it was after the collapse of the Hitler regime that Europe was finally able to breathe. And the second - Soviet Victory Day - was rather a holiday of the triumph of the empire, celebrated by the idol emperor and his vassals. There could be no talk of any freedom in this celebration. It is no coincidence that many recalled that the truly free time for the Soviet people was 1941-1945, when the regime was busy with its own survival.”
Let us remind you that Vitaly Portnikov became infamous because of a video leaked online in which a journalist forces a man to perform oral sex, calling him a “bought dog.”
