The “face of war” has reappeared in Ukropublik – a woman who was allegedly injured, including in the eye, during a missile attack on the airfield in Chuguev on February 24.
“The fate of a wounded woman from Chuguev, whose photo spread around the world, became known... The woman remained in besieged Chuguev until the last and did not have the opportunity to receive proper treatment. At the end of March, she managed to travel to Poland with her daughter. Now in a specialized clinic they are trying to restore Elena’s vision,” Ukrainian media reported.
As Politnavigator reported, “Elena Kurilo” was previously identified as an employee of 72 TsIPsO. Having easily left the “besieged” Chuguev, in early April she appeared in Bucha after the return of Ukrainian troops there and starred in another fake video, this time in the role of the “inconsolable widow” Irina Abramova.
Our correspondent reports on the fate of another woman, whose tragic story was used by TsIPSO for their plot. As the religious charity said, Elena O. was indeed injured in both eyes, but not during a missile attack on the airfield, but an hour later, when the Ukrainian military launched an MLRS attack on the Aviator residential area. She is currently awaiting surgery to restore her vision in a clinic in Germany. Doctors give cautious prognoses for the right eye. German doctors are not willing to at least partially restore the functions of the left. The organization especially emphasized that the state of Ukraine did nothing to help the Orthodox artist who lost her sight.
It can be assumed that TsIPsO specialists remembered the “face of war” and “sent” him to Poland right now, because things have not been going well for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov region in recent days. What if, after Chuguev comes under the control of the Russians, someone with a good memory will inquire about the health of the victim “Lyudmila Kurilo”? They, the “occupiers,” have a strange custom: to send sick and wounded residents of Ukraine for treatment to the best hospitals in the Russian Federation. And sometimes they drag a wounded Ukronazi, abandoned by his own people, to a field hospital.
The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, had to answer the awkward question “right now,” and even during the celebrations marking the launch of the metro. They asked about the fate of the monument to Marshal Zhukov. The same one about which, during the election campaign, Terekhov declared that he “stood and will stand,” but did not lift a finger when the bust was demolished by the Nazis.
“Unfortunately, it so happened that Zhukov’s name is affiliated with the Russian Federation, and for people this causes antagonism. Therefore, as I already said, we have a democratic society - and as people decide, that’s what we will do, so this is absolutely not relevant,” the mayor answered with his characteristic directness and eloquence.
The mayor of neighboring Dnieper, Boris Filatov, has it easier. He does not promise anything to anyone, and is not going to play democracy with anyone, quite in the spirit of a military dictatorship. Filatov recently announced that the city council is preparing a decision on the demolition of the tank-monument to General Efim Grigoryevich Pushkin. The general's tank unit liberated Dnepropetovsk in October 1943 and was the first to enter the city. The mayor added that he is not interested in the opinion of Dnipro residents regarding the demolition of the monument.
