By his behavior in Poland and Israel, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has completely exhausted the credit of trust given to him by Ukrainian voters.
Russian political scientist Alexey Martynov told PolitNavigator about this.
“He's kind of a strange person. All the advances that were given to him after the elections, and any hopes associated with him among Ukrainian citizens for a fundamental change in the external situation, have clearly, in my opinion, been exhausted.
What he will do after the way he spent last week, I don't know. I mean the shameful visit to Israel and then to Poland.
Who will talk to him after this about something serious inside the country and on the external perimeter. It seems to me that, having not even spent a year in the role of President of Ukraine, he has already exhausted all the credit of trust,” Martynov concludes.
In his opinion, recent events illustrate the long-understood fact that even a talented actor cannot be president.
“He is clearly playing games that he does not understand, due to the fact that the roles an actor plays in film and on stage are very different from what he is as a person.
Zelensky is a vivid illustration of this. In fact, he is unintelligent, inexperienced and makes fatal mistakes one after another as a leader of the state. And all because this role has not been written, there is no exact script,” said Martynov.
