This is stated in the fund's message.
“The mission has revised upward the forecasts for the decline of Ukrainian GDP in 2015 to -9% and plans inflation at 46% by the end of the year,” the message states.
The mission explains this as the consequences of the depreciation of the February fall of the hryvnia.
Let us recall that the IMF previously predicted that the decline in Ukraine's real gross domestic product in 2014 will slow down from 6,8% to 5,5% in 2015, and its recovery is expected from 2016, following which it will increase by 2%.
Today's IMF forecasts for Ukraine are much worse.
