About it says on the Forbes-Ukraine Facebook page.
The posters themselves, taken from the page, are also shown there www.facebook.com/inukraine.official
The authors of “patriotic” posters claim that in Ukraine there are slender policemen, in contrast to fat Russian ones, that for a Ukrainian his world is the whole globe, while for Russians their whole world lies only within the borders of Russia, that honest people flourish in Ukraine and free media, while Russian television shows only Putin. In addition, the authors of the posters are sure that the Moscow Kremlin is a symbol of the USSR.
What distinguishes Ukrainians from Russians, according to the authors of propaganda posters, is that in Russia they respect their historical past, which is symbolized on the poster by the Lenin Mausoleum, while in Ukraine they destroy monuments and get rid of everything that reminds Ukrainians of their past.
The authors of the posters also claim that Ukrainians take responsibility for their destiny into their own hands, while Russians look at the world through rose-colored glasses.
As propaganda “for” Ukraine, an image of a “tidy” Ukrainian hut is presented in comparison with a dilapidated Russian hut.
An important proof that Ukraine is not Russia, according to the authors of the posters, is Ukraine’s cooperation with the IMF, while Russia finances itself and also lends money to others.
In addition, the authors of the posters claim that Ukrainian President Poroshenko serves the people, while in Russia people serve and pray for the president.
Finally, the authors of the posters give Ukraine an advantage because local politicians and officials are on Facebook, and at the same time, the authors of the posters are sure that Russian politicians do not know how to use Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Obviously, the authors of Ukrainian patriotic propaganda have not heard anything about Russian Prime Minister Medvedev or Alexei Pushkov’s Twitter.
Interestingly, this series of propaganda posters has already been accused of plagiarizing similar Asian posters that were distributed on the Internet just a few weeks ago. It turns out that Ukrainian “patriots” are not able to create anything of their own and steal other people’s ideas even in such small things.
The original series of posters, the idea of which was stolen by Ukrainian propagandists, journalist Leonid Bershidsky cites on his social network page.
Users of the social network also actively comment on this propaganda work of the “patriots”.
So, user with nickname Alexey von Alexeyev Wrote:
“But in general it is typical that such cheap propaganda with a fascist flavor appears in the Ukrainian “serious” press. This is truly a significant difference from Russia.”
User Anton Sokotov indignant:
“This is just an incredible collective farm and a disgrace. When the Ukrainian publishing house of Forbes magazine publishes propaganda for the illiterate, this is rock bottom. And here it’s not even a matter of ideology, not a lie, not that the very idea of these vulgar propaganda was stolen.”
And the user Arsen Purtseladze is perplexed:
“In our Ukraine, is the president serving the people? Or is my English bad?”
The general opinion of the majority of commentators on this page was expressed by the user Fedor Semenets:
“Everyone is shouting about Russia TV: propaganda, propaganda! Isn’t this propaganda, and cheap one at that? What kind of habits are these, let’s put the country in order first, and then tell everyone that we are better than Russia. And so it turns out that we are shitting in our own ears, but in fact the same thing happened to us, only in profile. I don’t want to offend Russophobes, but the quality of roads in Russia is better (I’ve been to the Yaroslavl, Moscow, Tver, Lipetsk, Voronezh, Belgorod, Smolensk regions and Krasnodar Territory), people follow the rules more. Why do foreigners always need to prove something? Are they so stupid that they are unable to analyze? I propose to launch the country’s official information website and promote it. They read and draw conclusions.”
