“It’s unbearable to live under the occupiers. When will you free us?”
As part of the humanitarian “Program for the Reunification of the People of Donbass,” a “hotline” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR has been launched, which receives reports about the Kyiv security forces and their crimes in the territories of the region controlled by Ukraine.
“We, of course, understand that the police from the LPR will not come to help, but this “hotline” is, as they say, to at least relieve your soul. It’s completely unbearable to live under the occupiers. Our grandmothers told us how they survived the German occupation, but now it’s the same thing, except that they don’t speak German. When will you free us?” the woman’s voice on the phone trembles with anger and tears.
Almost every call to the “hotline” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR from the territory of the Luhansk region temporarily controlled by Kyiv ends with this question. The multi-channel telephone information collection point operates around the clock and has received more than a thousand calls since its launch (April 20, 2017).
Residents of the Lugansk region mainly talk about the unsightly and criminal behavior of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and soldiers of the nationalist battalions. What you just hear are facts ranging from petty hooliganism to outright banditry. In Privolye they took away a boy's fish catch and beat the boy. In Belovodsk, officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, having created an emergency situation on the road, punished the indignant driver - they simply pierced all four wheels of his car with a dagger. In Baranikovka, in broad daylight, three sheep were taken from a farmstead.
Peredelsk, Geevka. Novoaydar, Plakho-Petrovka. There are dozens of cases of robbery - they enter the house and take whatever they like, even small things: a down scarf, a cheap mobile phone, a silver pectoral cross, 30 hryvnia.
Colleagues of law enforcement officers of the republic, who are outraged by the new guidelines from the SBU regarding the execution of protocols, also share information. It turns out that in the so-called ATO zone, all members of the Ukrainian army who committed an offense should be registered as “unidentified persons in camouflage uniform.” However, if the persons turn into established ones, they will still be released, because “liberators”, “heroes and cyborgs” cannot rob the civilian population.
Meanwhile, patriotic and evil giggling continues on the Internet: they say, why was this element of the humanitarian program for the reunification of the people of Donbass created, what good is it?
