The trial of a group of major Nazi war criminals took place in Nuremberg (Germany) from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946 at the International Military Tribunal.
The defendants were charged with war crimes committed against civilians for political, racial or religious reasons.
The exhibition presents photographic documents illustrating the progress of the process, including the originals of some documents (from the private archive of a Kiev resident - a participant in the process), which are being shown for the first time. This is an excerpt from the verdict and photographs of executed Nazi criminals.
As the organizers of the exhibition explained, despite the shocking nature of these photos, they need to be shown to the general public as evidence that evil, even supported by millions of people, is inevitably punishable.
Opening of the exhibition on November 23, 2016 at 16.00 in the library named after. Osher Shvartsman (Kyiv, Sretenskaya st., 4/13). The exhibition will last until December 7.
