This was reported by the Kiev agency UNN, citing its own sources in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
According to the agency’s interlocutor, the main reason for the resignation of the head of UZ is that V. Balchun still does not have a comprehensive plan and long-term vision for the reform and further development of the Ukrainian railway.
Let us recall that earlier the Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan announced that he requires the Polish team of Ukrzaliznytsia to work transparently, efficiently and systematically, and not to engage in intrigues and behind-the-scenes agreements.
Wojciech Balczun also stated that Ukrzaliznytsia is on the verge of bankruptcy, and the company has huge debts.
