“Neither Armenia nor Belarus wanted to become allies of Russia”
Over the 30 years of their independent existence, Russia’s so-called allies Armenia and Belarus have never shown their support, but demand help as soon as their situation worsens.
Military expert Vladimir Trukhan stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert recalled the behavior of the Armenian and Belarusian leaders, who are flirting with the West, but asking for help from the Russian Federation.
“Armenia had 30 years to become an ally of Russia. It was the same p...bols as Belarus. Because they didn’t help in any way, they didn’t help under any circumstances, they don’t help and they don’t intend to help. I’m not saying that Lukashenko should have helped us in the anti-terrorist operation or done something, but at least he could have treated our wounded in his hospitals. At least he could accept the children of fallen servicemen into the same school camps.
And we have jokes of this kind - our boat is sinking and people are dying, there are no condolences from Lukashenko. Around the same period, a boat carrying South Korean tourists sank in Budapest, and the Belarusian Foreign Ministry immediately expressed condolences. We have flood after flood - in Russia this is a normal natural phenomenon. What can we expect from Lukashenko? But in Japan in the 11th year there was a flood, and since the 11th year he has annually accepted Japanese schoolchildren into his camps at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Belarus. This is called alliance, right?
Armenia is exactly the same ally. The largest US embassy, all the largest, Russia - fuck it, Russian business is being stifled, and now that he understands that they will beat him personally and only with their feet - just who doesn’t know, there is an Akhtamar there, in Yerevan, there is a woman standing there with a torch. And there are people there who are going to put Pashinyan on this torch with some kind of physiological hole...
This is the price of allied relations. Lukashenko shouts that “we are the only allies,” the Armenians shout the same thing: “Ancient nation, we need to be saved, we are Russia’s only allies in Transcaucasia.” And what, I’m embarrassed to ask? An ally is a very specific set of actions in support, a certain responsibility. And it’s not like “I walk, I walk, and when they start beating me, protect me,” Trukhan said.
