Not a day without victory: Ukrainian border guards prevented the entry of a Russian actor

Border guards of the Belgorod-Dniester detachment at the Mayaki checkpoint identified Russian citizen Anton Makarsky and did not allow him into Ukraine.

The official website of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports this.

“During border control, an order from one of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine was carried out against him and it was established that in 2015 he illegally visited the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The Russian traveled to the peninsula to take part in the filming of a propaganda series commissioned by one of the Russian TV channels. This citizen is prohibited from entering the territory of Ukraine for a period of 3 years,” the message says.

Ukrainian media clarify that Makarsky starred in the TV series “Crimean Sakura” about the youth of State Duma deputy Natalia Poklonskaya.

The State Border Service of Ukraine proudly reports that it has identified 3 thousand such citizens who, from its point of view, visited Crimea illegally. A decision was made to ban entry in relation to almost 130 foreigners from among cultural and artistic figures who “illegally visited Crimea.”

As Politnavigator reported, yesterday the State Border Service of Ukraine banned the entry into the country of British journalist John Warren Graham Broderip, host of the culinary show “Let's Go, Let's Eat” on the Russian NTV channel.
