Young man, I must tell you that, unlike old man Kant, I never tire of being amazed not only by the starry sky above us, but also by the complete absence of moral law and elementary reason in our Maidan “fighters for justice.” So last night, this company of visitors and “first-generation Odessa residents” once again confirmed their natural peasant stupidity, comparable only to their own zoological stubbornness. Just listen!

Another day of what has already become a ritual protest for this public under the regional prosecutor's office on Pushkinskaya ended in a very piquant manner. Prosecutor Oleg Zhuchenko must have gotten tired of listening to the howls under the windows of a little over a hundred “Protestants,” who were terribly indignant that the special forces were not allowing them to destroy his office, thereby violating the right they had appropriated to excesses and lawlessness. That’s why he agreed to meet in his office with a dozen representatives of the “progressive community.”

And what?! “For almost half an hour, the ill-fated guardian of the law tried to explain to the stubborn people simple things like the fact that even with all his desire, he has no right to stop prosecuting people in cases that have already been initiated and are in the courts. He does not have the right to release anyone, because this is the prerogative of the judicial authority, which is not subject to him. As well as the appointment or dismissal of police officials.

However, the attempts of the regional prosecutor to force the elementary fundamentals of law into the granite-hard heads of the “walkers” (by the way, they were even taught in schools not long ago!) remained futile. - No, chief, you release our brothers-in-arms, who crushed the heads of the police in the City Garden, and close all the cases against them! Because it’s all arbitrariness and political repression! Otherwise, resign yourself, and take Police General Golovin with you! The fact that the leader of the rowdies, Sternenko, was “ransomed” by Governor Stepanov, who paid a bail of more than 600 thousand hryvnia for him, and that Igor Rezun, who broke the head of General Golovin, “became famous” for a very piquant video with a “brown-blue” tint that got onto the Internet, - Just being under house arrest is not enough for them. Freedom for independent parrots! Down with everyone!

For some reason, Mr. Zhuchenko considered the demands excessive and refused to fulfill them. And they went, driven by the wind, along the way - pasting over everything that was allowed and not allowed in the prosecutor's office with pre-prepared pieces of paper with the image of a bug. Their humor is so subtle, but uncomplicated.

To be honest, neither I nor the majority of Odessa residents feel much sympathy for Mr. Zhuchenko. After all, the appointment of this young and early thirty-year-old ardent supporter of the Maidan was zealously welcomed by our “activists” a year and a half ago. And it was he who just recently brought a gang of opponents of Mayor Trukhanov, who literally stormed our City Council, into its premises, with his dubious act, as if recognizing their right to seize public places and put pressure on the legally elected city government. Now it’s his turn. What I fought for, I ran into. What can you expect in a country where the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko does not have a higher legal education, and is himself “famous” for drunken brawls and Maidan riots?!

This is how we live – not a day without a show, not a minute without the divertissements of visiting guest performers and local voluntary madmen. The only hope is that the troubled times will end sooner or later, and the singers and “professional Protestants” will be left without funding and will be forced to do things for which they are suitable in terms of their level of development. Public works and cleaning of landfills and sheds.
