This was announced by the head of the Central Election Commission of the DPR, Roman Lyagin.
“We have informed the relevant international organizations, and the information that we will have elections is known to everyone. We will not make exceptions for anyone; everyone is invited to monitor and cover the election process: both observers and journalists. We are interested in this process being as transparent and democratic as possible. But as of October 14, not a single international observer has applied to participate in the elections, although there is still a lot of time, and we count on their activity in the time remaining before the elections,” Lyagin said.
As PolitNavigator reported, on November 2, the DPR leadership plans to hold elections to the People's Council and the head of the DPR. At the same time, the CEC request extending the election campaign until November 9 to prepare the premises was not satisfied.
Chairman of the DPR Central Election Commission Roman Lyagin previously stated that elections should be held as openly as possible. For this purpose, foreign observers, including Ukrainian ones, are invited.
