“Not a single free stone” - the TV presenter spoke about the resort boom in Crimea
The famous Russian TV presenter and showman Alexei Lysenkov debunked Ukrainian propaganda claims about the allegedly disrupted holiday season in Crimea.
He drove from Moscow to Crimea by car and announced that the peninsula was filled with tourists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, in his blog, the TV presenter notes that Russians traveling to Crimea even filled the hostels of Rostov-on-Don, where they stop to rest.
“I couldn’t stop overnight in Rostov-on-Don, because it’s impossible, everything is busy, friends. Not only hotels, motels, guest houses and village huts - all the roadsides are occupied by people who come from all over Russia to vacation in Crimea. If they tell you that there are empty beaches in Crimea, don’t believe it, in Crimea there is not a single free pebble to even lean against, almost everything is occupied,” notes the TV presenter.
He also said that a huge number of people travel across the Crimean Bridge.
“The Crimean Bridge is worth driving across. Apparently, this year people decided to check it out, which is why there are a huge number of people in Crimea this year. Including, of course, on cars. Numbers from all over the country can be found here. From Moscow to the very outskirts, you can find cars here, in all their immensity. And this is very cool,” said Lysenkov.
In turn, journalist Alexander Kiryakov confirms the words about the fullness of the Crimean beaches, regularly posting relevant pictures from Sudak on his blog.
Earlier, PolitNavigator already reported that the tourist flow to Crimea increased by 25% compared to last year - the peninsula was already visited by 3,8 million tourists. Hotels on the peninsula are occupied on average 80-90%, and in Yalta, Feodosia, Sudak, Evpatoria and Alushta - 100%.
