Nothing is over: Clashes are being prepared in Minsk
The statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the creation of a reserve of internal troops in case of destabilization of the situation in Belarus is connected with the next rally of the Belarusian opposition being prepared for Sunday.
Political scientist Marat Bashirov expressed this opinion in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yesterday’s statement by President Putin about the special forces of the Russian Armed Forces is due to the fact that this weekend a decisive battle of “Polish saboteurs” is planned in Minsk and a military provocation on the border with Brest. In general, we warned in advance that we “see,” as on the coast in Venezuela, your PMCs and don’t be surprised how later they will lie in a line, alive or not,” Bashirov wrote.
Another political scientist, Vladimir Kornilov, warns his Belarusian colleagues against complacency.
“I told this to our Belarusian brothers last week, when they said that the peak would pass, and everything began to decline. And then we saw the Belarusian president unloading with a machine gun. Believe us, who studied in detail the experience of color revolutions in Kyiv, nothing has gone down. They are preparing a new peak for Sunday,” Kornilov said on the Rossiya24 TV channel.
The Polish telegram channel Nechta, which is coordinating protests in Belarus, called on its subscribers to gather on Independence Square in Minsk for an unsanctioned rally and bring with them “creative hand-made gifts for Lukashenko” (the Belarusian president has his birthday on Sunday).
It is to be expected that Polish operators will once again call on their followers to move to the Palace of the Republic, where the presidential residence is located. Last weekend, such a trip almost ended in a collision.
