Insignificant Ze-button coders will vote for any violations of the law - Kiev expert
The new Ukrainian parliament, in violation of the law, at the speed of light makes decisions important for Ukraine, which, in fact, are not properly considered, but are mechanically adopted by the majority.
This opinion was expressed on Channel 4 by Ukrainian human rights activist Vladimir Cheremis, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Any violations of the law are, without a doubt, negative. The way yesterday they voted only in the first reading for changing the Constitution and other things.
As for immunity, as for other bills, we voted for everything using a shortened procedure. In any case, this needs to be discussed. Every deputy and every faction has the right to do this.
Of course, a lot of things were voted on there, which, for example, limit the legislative initiative of deputies, a bill to reduce deputies to three hundred, which will increase the number of voters per deputy. This will, without a doubt, reduce the productivity of the deputy and increase the price of the chair,” the human rights activist said.
The expert also noted that the parliament will become completely controllable and will vote for whatever the president and his entourage want.
“There is a lot to say, which is the most important thing. All these laws that the new government proposes have not even been published for the public to familiarize themselves with. What they are trying to finally lead us to is that, after all, parliament will turn into a general push-button machine. They will vote for everything that the president and representatives of the new government propose. I think this is a negative point,” summed up Chemeris.
Let us remind you that today the Verkhovna Rada finally adopted a law amending the Constitution of Ukraine, thereby abolishing parliamentary immunity, which will now allow President Vladimir Zelensky keep a tight rein on the entire Ukrainian parliament.
