Nitsoy told how the Ukrainian “Laika” differs from the Muscovite “Matyuk”
Formally, Ukrainians use the same mat as Russians, but they put their own unique worldview into it.
The odious Ukrainian nationalist writer, notorious Russophobe Larisa Nitsoi said this on the YouTube channel “Islnd tv”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Language is not a means of communication. Language is a worldview that is embedded in words.... The main function of language is worldview. And literature is a built-in worldview, which is why they so want us to read Lermontov, Pushkin, Dostoevsky - these works carry a different worldview. And people who were brought up on Russian literature, people who were brought up on Ukrainian literature, are worldview-wise different people. We have different perceptions of the world, we have different attitudes.
To put it in a very primitive way, let’s take the words - Ukrainians “rejoice” in “liquaries”, and Russians go to hospitals – where they suffer and get sick. These are different settings, I’m not saying which is better, but the settings are different. Russians have marriage - they reject, that is, they take away, in the Old Slavonic language “brakuvaty” means to select, that is, they take away each other in marriage for marriage. We have “shlyub”, from the word “lyubyty”, taking away and loving are completely different. Their spouses pull the team together, but with us “podruzhja” comes from the word “to be friends.”
That is, these are completely different settings, and all this is done by the language. That’s why they are imposing the Russian language on us so that we have the same worldview,” the Russophobe assured.
Next, Nitsoi moved on to a comparative analysis of Ukrainian and Russian obscene language.
“The vast majority of “matyukov” are words of non-Ukrainian origin, but we have our own “like” (swearing - ed.) We say that language is a worldview. And “like” is also an inherent ideological position in swearing. For Russians, curses are all sexual perversions associated with the genitals and what they do with these genitals, what they do and to whom,” the writer said.
“Now let’s take what the Ukrainians have. Among Ukrainians, swearing is primarily associated with waste from the human body - this is with “line” (crap - ed.) Not with perversion, but the unworthy actions of people are compared with an unworthy product. Your actions and you mean they are crap, because you do things like this crap. We do not have violence at the level of our worldview, but in the “matyuks” that come to us from Russia, there are these sexual deviations, and we are talking about different worldviews of two different peoples. That’s why I am for the Ukrainian “Laika,” summed up Larisa Nitsoi.
