Prostrate in horror: “What the hell?!” There are Muscovites at the Ukrainian Armed Forces checkpoints."
The notorious Ukrainian nationalist writer is shocked that the Ukrainian Armed Forces prefer to communicate in Russian.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, she wrote about this on her blog.
“All the checkpoints that we passed spoke to us in Russian. Except one. One (!). Well, imagine that we are driving at night and get lost. We approach the checkpoint, and there:
- Hello. Where we go? - this is what they tell me, who is on the penalty list and whose entry into Muscovy is prohibited.
How should I respond to this “hello” at checkpoints? What the hell are Muscovites doing at Ukrainian checkpoints? Why do I hear this “hello” instead of the Ukrainian good, dear “good afternoon”, “good evening”, “vіtayu”. Well, what kind of crap is this?” Nitsoi is indignant.
