The chances of the Association Agreement with the EU being ratified in the Dutch Parliament are slim, and a solution to this issue has not been found.

This was stated by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte following the first day of the EU summit in Brussels, UNIAN reports.
“What we need is a legally binding solution that addresses many of the problems identified during the debate over the referendum result. I don’t know what the form should be yet. This may be a change in the text, maybe we will find a solution that does not change the text of the Association Agreement. If I cannot achieve this, and this is what I told my colleagues, we will not sign the document. This is absolutely clear,” Rutte said.
“It will be difficult, the chances of achieving it are slim, but we must try,” he added.
Let us recall that in April of this year, at a referendum in the Netherlands, the majority of citizens of this country opposed the ratification of the association agreement with Ukraine.
