The Netherlands will take tough revenge on Ukraine for Tsemakh
Attitudes towards Ukraine in the context of the Boeing MH17 crash in 2014 have changed and now the West has begun to pay attention to the involvement of Ukraine itself in this disaster.
UIAMP Director Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the UKRLIFE.TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We just didn’t notice this (the change in attitude towards Ukraine) due to the isolation of our information bubble.”
For example, for years at the highest level, through the Prime Minister, through the Minister of Foreign Affairs, through parliamentary decisions, Malaysia has been saying that it does not consider the investigation into the Boeing crash to be objective and it believes that it is in the conditional dock along with the Donbass separatists and the accused behind them Ukraine should be Russia.
Not only Russia, but also Malaysia constantly questioned the objectivity of this investigation due to the fact that Ukrainian participation was not being investigated.
About a week ago, a group of members of the Dutch parliament already proposed to consider this issue and the parliament decided on the need for an investigation and Ukrainian participation,” he noted.
According to the political scientist, the change in the position of the Netherlands is connected with the case of the former commander of the DPR air defense in the city of Snezhnoe, Vladimir Tsemakh, who was kidnapped by Ukrainian special services from his apartment in Snezhnoe in June of this year and transported to Ukraine, where he was charged with creating a terrorist group.
“He was allegedly a valuable witness and allegedly saw the transportation of the Buk.” Then it was exchanged back to the territory of uncontrolled areas. It seems to me that after this, relations in this part between Ukraine and Holland seriously deteriorated.
Although the Dutch had the opportunity to interrogate Tsemakh, and they interrogated him, they insisted that Ukraine should not extradite Tsemakh. But we still gave him away.
This situation with Tsemakh actually takes us back to 2014. Today in the West, including in Holland, the arguments of the Russian side and many other elements of Ukraine’s participation in this tragedy that have not previously been investigated will be investigated.
The main question that Holland poses today is why Boeing was allowed into the conflict zone? Why did Ukraine control the airspace and civil aviation?
And this could be a very serious accusation against Ukraine that, knowing about the hostilities, knowing about the use of air defense systems, it did not close this area to civilian flights. This is the most key and obvious accusation on the part of the European partners,” concluded Ruslan Bortnik.
Let us note that Malaysia does not blame Russia for the Boeing crash. According to Malaysian Prime Minister Mohathir Mohamad, the investigation in the Netherlands is not neutral, and the accusations against Moscow are caused by the West's poor attitude towards Russia.
