No creatures in the leadership of the Russian Federation will force the LDPR to return to Ukraine
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who poured out election promises about a speedy end to the war, continues to demonstrate cruel cynicism, telling Europe about the desire for peace at the same time as shelling the residents of Donbass.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations in Minsk, adviser to the head of the republic, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the TV channel “Russia 1”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“In an interview he gave just before his trip to Israel, he begins another lamentation about how he wants peace. And before that, in Davos, he told the billionaire burghers that “we really want peace.” At the same time, 152-mm shells were being hammered into Staromikhailovka and other areas around Donetsk. Where is the cynicism?
What he told the burghers is one thing. But in fact, in his country the exact opposite is happening. Eight months ago he could have given an order, six months ago he should have fulfilled the Minsk ceasefire obligations. More than a month has passed since they said that there would be no fire, but the fire continues.
Yesterday, on Zelensky’s birthday, about two hundred shells again flew across the DPR and LPR. Are these gifts and fireworks? This is a president who goes to Israel and says: “We are for peace, these are our people.” You don’t need our people, you definitely don’t need the people of Donbass,” he noted.
At the same time, the representative of the LPR stated that the leadership and residents of the Donbass republics will never agree to Kyiv’s conditions, which run counter to the Minsk agreements and common sense.
“When my opponent, with whom I regularly meet in Minsk, comes out and says: “First, clear everyone, give up the border, demilitarize, and then we will hold elections.” Do you really think that a person of sound mind and sober memory would agree to replace some process of taking into account the interests of the two sides with “let’s first surround, disarm, shoot whoever we want, imprison the rest, and bring someone who will answer to the highest requirements of democratic nationalist standards of Ukraine"? The Ukrainian side believes that we can agree to be surrounded and cleared out?
Under no circumstances, regardless of any creatures with whom we work, who are in the Russian government, in the Ukrainian government, we are not suicidal, we will never agree to these things, because behind us are 4 million people who demand respect to themselves, have their own point of view and, most importantly, they have the core to stand up for their interests and their homes,” concluded Miroshnik.
