The German publication Bild writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As the publication notes, on the issue of economic sanctions against Russia, the German Chancellor insists on a hard line on the part of the federal government. “There will be no concessions to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the annexation of Crimea,” the publication quotes the German leader.
“Sanctions against Russia will not be lifted until the reasons for the sanctions are eliminated,” Merkel said.
