No “Marshall Plan”: a developed Ukraine is extremely unprofitable for Europe and the United States
Europe does not need a high-tech Ukraine, because it will create competition for European companies.
Viktor Suslov, ex-Minister of Economy, said this on the Newsone TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I talked with the leaders of Motor Sich. Motor Sich engines hold world records for lifting heights, lifting speed, lifting loads, etc. And the European Union does not certify these engines so that Ukraine can produce and sell them in Europe.
Because it is a competitor for European engine manufacturers, in particular French companies. That's all.
Nobody, neither Europe, nor France, nor the United States, needs a high-tech Ukraine.
There will be no Marshall Plan for Ukraine. But for Germany it was. Because there was a Cold War, because the FRG was needed powerful enough to resist the socialist camp, the USSR. And Germany has been a support for the Americans for many years.
But Ukraine is not needed. That’s why they told us that we would be an agricultural country,” Suslov said.
