“No panic. They sign up for the front even without a summons” - ex-commander Strelkov
The partial mobilization announced in Russia should not take place at once, but over several stages - after “plugging the holes” with recruits trained for a month and a half, the second wave should be trained very thoroughly.
Alexander Mukharev, a veteran of local wars since 1992, the first commander of ex-Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov in Bosnia, spoke about this on Roy TV, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The worst possible solution is chosen. As for panic, I don’t know. Yesterday I happened to pass by the military commissariat. I was surprised. There were people there who came up and asked: “Guys, what are you doing here?” The men are somewhere over 30. “We’ve come to sign up.” "How? Without an agenda?..” They say: “Yes, they came to sign up without a summons to the front.”
Regarding mobilization - yes, indeed, mobilization will not be carried out at once. Hope so. The first wave of mobilization will be the most difficult in organizational terms. For one simple reason: it is necessary to close the shortage of troops on the front line, in units. This will really be done quickly, without much preparation. They will try to hire, of course, in military specialties, but attack aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft and everything else will be recruited and trained at an accelerated pace.
The first wave is for plugging holes. I hope so. When there is a second stream of recruitment, then units will be created with training for a month, two, three,” Mukharev said.
He proposed to follow the method of operational training of newly minted German infantrymen during the Second World War.
“The first ones are those who will now replenish military units on the front line - here we need to take the experience of the Germans of the Second World War. Experience says the following: don’t rush. Even after being defeated at Stalingrad, most of the military units that were recruited were trained in the rear for 6-8 weeks, depending on their specialty and other things. The infantry studied for 6 weeks. For a month and a half, they were driven around for eight to ten hours a day. Ordinary infantry in order to study all types of small arms that they will use, all the features of how they shoot, where and the tactics that will be needed in this area,” recommended Mukhin.
