The ex-ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Yuriy Shcherbak, stated this on the air of the Kyiv Channel 5.

“Ex-President Viktor Yanukovych has a great chance of being transported to The Hague. Everything changes. Today Russia is holding it as a greasy card to throw into the Ukrainian situation, but this will not happen for long,” the diplomat noted.

“The Russians will abandon him, they will abandon Honecker, and even more so they will abandon Yanukovych.
He has very poor prospects, even if tomorrow he is taken to perform at the Svyatogorsk Monastery and surrounded by special forces there. This will not change anything, his criminal essence will be proven - most importantly, by the international court that tried Milosevic and other criminals of Yugoslavia,” Yuri Shcherbak is convinced.
